The state of EV charging infrastructure in 2026 — getting better or worse?

User #1 2/20/2026
Curious to hear everyone's experiences with public charging in 2026. I've noticed some improvements in my area (South East England): ✅ More rapid chargers at motorway services ✅ Better reliability (fewer broken chargers) ✅ Contactless payment becoming standard But still some frustrations: ❌ Pricing is all over the place (30p-80p per kWh) ❌ Some locations still have queues at peak times ❌ Rural areas are still underserved What's the charging situation like in your area? Are things improving?
