Silence was founded in 2011 by Carlos Sotelo, with the clear goal of creating a new type of electric mobility at an affordable price and with vehicles optimized for today’s cities and roads.

Today, Silence has around 200 people working to make sustainable urban mobility possible at the factory in Molins de Rei, located near Barcelona.

The factory can produce about 10,000 electric scooters and lightweight electric motorcycles, as well as 12,000 battery packs per year. The patents on electronics and battery solutions that Silence owns are the result of four years of research and development.

Silence is now working on expansion both in its home country of Spain and abroad, including establishing a presence in Sweden through the importer K.W. Bruun Automotive
