The journey of Black Tea Motorbikes began with a successful crowdfunding campaign in August 2020 for their Black Tea Bonfire model. This initial venture allowed them to finance the product certification in Europe, set up production in Munich, and deliver the first bikes to their community of riders. The Black Tea Bonfire stands out for its use of off-the-shelf motors and controllers, which was a strategic choice to minimize development costs and time.
