“I rented an e-bike for an afternoon in Barcelona ten years ago to tour the hills of Montjuic and was blown away by its power and lightweight. I knew I had to have one, but a cool one!” Paul Myers, the founder of Cooler King, wanted an e-bike for himself, but everything he looked at was square. He didn’t want a fat-tired shopping bike, so he realized he might have to make it himself.

A man is posing on a bike in the woods.

He found a frame he loved, a factory that could deliver the exact specifications. Suddenly found there were lots of others like him who shared his taste and also didn’t like the alternatives that were on the market. Read More like this: Contra Moto Concept On Donor Electric Motorcycles

Cooler King Ebike

Cooler King is a UK-based e-bike brand that is now sending its work around the world, Reverently opening channels in California, South Africa, and the EU. Read more about: How An Electric Motorcycle Actually Works here.

In the process of developing the Cooler Kub, the first blank-page design, he listed all the things that Cooler King owners had asked for the most. Twin batteries for more range, rear suspension and the ability to carry two adults. Were at the top of the list that he couldn’t incorporate into the current design.

He started with an A4 sheet, a Moomin’s ruler picked up at the local 7-Eleven, and two coins as templates for the wheels then started drawing. It was that basic. Once he had his ‘look’ he sent it to his CAD guy to make a 3D model and pretty soon they had the first prototypes. From the first moment, the pencil hit the paper to the delivery of the production version, it took 11 months.

”I’m very proud of what we did. It’s such a stable, comfortable bike with one or two people on it.”

Cooler King Coolest E-Bike Of The Year 2023:

The frame is made of aluminum 6061, which is very light. They adopted a real motorcycle seat to be sure that two fully grown adults can be carried comfortably. (one of the things they noticed with other long-seat E-bikes was that the seats were really quite small and not practical for grownups).

They also modify a genuine motorcycle fuel tank, cutting and changing it to cover the top battery. The mounting is another battery low on the frame. Either or both batteries can be mounted for use. Finally, they include 7-speed Shimano gears and Tektro hydraulic brakes. E-bikes without gears, in my opinion, make a huge assumption that riders will not use them or will not know how to use them.

Currently, they don’t have any new bikes in the pipe. There’s no drop in demand. But they do like to keep things interesting, and there’s always room for improvement. Making better, faster, cooler bikes that are also affordable is their aim. If they don’t really love it, they won’t release it. You can also purchase a Cooler King E-Bike Here: Cooler Bike

FAST QUESTIONS.

What Is Your Inspiration?

The first inspirations were aesthetically classic British motorcycles such as BSA, Triumph, and Norton, as well as Steve McQueen’s rat rods, clean design, and great engineering. Making cool design accessible and practical has driven us.

Do You Create Other Things Besides Bikes?

Not right now. We helped develop an efoil (I’ll ride anything on water if I can!) and there is a back-burner project that we will get back to when we get a moment to think again. Personally, I’ve developed lots of different concepts over my career that were a bit out there until they became normal. It’s Like an online music subscription service before the iPod was announced, apps before we had smartphones, and a free internet service that became the default way to access the net until the advent of broadband.

What’s Shaking For 2023?

We will be looking for new dealers internationally. not your usual outlets. If you’ve seen our pop-up shops in the UK. We like to make them comfortable and give the bikes room to be seen. May be opening a concept store in the US and another in Europe. We are doing things a little differently than expected.

Credits To Give To Someone Else?

We give credit to our riders. It’s often quite touching to hear such positive feedback and loyalty to Cooler King. And of course to Benny and Enjoy who lead the boys and girls at the manufacturing and product development facilities.
