Ultraviolette, a pioneering Indian electric motorcycle manufacturer, has consistently challenged conventional norms in the world of electric mobility. Instead of merely prioritizing practicality and utility, the brand has made it a mission to preserve the essence of a traditional motorcycle while delivering exceptional performance and style.

Record-Breaking Journey
Despite being a newcomer to the electric vehicle scene, Ultraviolette’s F77 electric motorcycle has etched its name in the record books. One of the earliest adopters of this innovative bike, Baala Manikandan, embarked on an extraordinary long-distance journey with his Ultraviolette F77. Covering a staggering distance of 4,204 miles (6,727 kilometers) across 14 states, Manikandan commenced his journey in Chennai and concluded it in Bengaluru—all in a remarkable 22 days, averaging an impressive 191 miles (305 kilometers) per day.

Record-Breaking Achievement
Ultraviolette F77 in the India and Asia Book of Records. Following this epic journey, both Manikandan and Ultraviolette earned their place in the India Book of Records and the Asia Book of Records. Their achievement? Being the first electric motorcycle in the region to cover such a substantial distance in such a short span of time. With a journey that began on May 21, 2023, and faced numerous challenges, including uneven terrain and extreme weather conditions—ranging from scorching 113ºF (45º Celsius) temperatures to a bone-chilling 5ºF (-15º Celsius)—Manikandan triumphantly concluded his ride on June 12, 2023.

Power Mode Performance
During his journey, Manikandan primarily utilized the bike’s “Combat Mode,” which is the middle setting in terms of performance. For context, the Ultraviolette F77 offers three power modes: Glide, Combat, and Ballistic. Remarkably, Ultraviolette reports that Manikandan’s journey conserved approximately 71 gallons (270 liters) of fuel—an eco-conscious achievement that cost him a mere Rs 400 (less than $5 USD) for charging the electric motorcycle.

Cutting-Edge Technology
The Ultraviolette F77 has rapidly established itself as one of the most sought-after electric motorcycles in India, thanks to its array of cutting-edge technology. Equipped with a potent mid-mounted electric motor, it boasts a top speed of 95 miles per hour (152 kilometers per hour). The company also claims an impressive real-world range of 192 miles (307 kilometers) on a single charge. What’s more, Ultraviolette offers an exceptional eight-year warranty on this remarkable bike, making it a top choice in the electric motorcycle market.
