Upgraded Performance for Piaggio 1 Range

Piaggio has introduced significant upgrades to the electric motor powering the Piaggio 1 range. The moped version, Piaggio 1, boasts a 3.1 hp motor with a top speed of 27 mph, while the motorbike version, Piaggio 1 Active, reaches 4 hp with an unannounced top speed. Piaggio claims a 14% acceleration increase for Piaggio 1 and nearly 12% for Piaggio 1 Active.

Technological Package of the 2023 Piaggio 1

The 2023 Piaggio 1 comes equipped with a full technological package, featuring a 5.5-inch digital color instrumentation, full LED lighting, and keyless ignition. Additionally, it offers an under-seat storage compartment spacious enough to accommodate a full helmet. Key specifications include a top speed of 45 km/h (base) and 60 km/h (Active), along with power ratings of 1.2 kW (1.34 kW peak) for the base model and 2.0 kW (3.0 kW peak) for the Active version.

Enhanced Range for Piaggio 1 Active

The previous Piaggio 1+ model claimed a range of approximately 62 miles in ECO mode and 42 miles in Sport mode. The Piaggio 1 Active, on the other hand, claims 53 miles in ECO mode and 41 miles in Sport mode. Both versions feature a removable and portable battery located beneath the seat, allowing for convenient charging at home or in the office.

At the EICMA show in Italy, the Piaggio Group introduced the Aprilia ELECTRICa project, alongside updates to various models. The Aprilia ELECTRICa 3 features a top speed of 80.0 km/h and a design aligned with Aprilia’s distinctive style. The company emphasizes its commitment to meeting evolving mobility needs and providing a thrilling riding experience.

Innovative Design and Features of Aprilia ELECTRICa 3

The Aprilia ELECTRICa 3 showcases a lightweight electric bike concept, responding to changing commuting needs worldwide. The electric motor is centrally positioned, powering a chain final drive. The bike includes keyless ignition, LCD instrumentation, and the iconic Aprilia style, particularly the modern interpretation of the triple headlamp cluster. Compact dimensions, a low saddle height, and integrated brake controls on the handlebar aim to facilitate an easy transition from scooters.
